Questions
Is Propex made for New Zealand?
Yes. Propex is built around the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 and the Healthy Homes standards, uses New Zealand addresses and dollars, and keeps personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.
Can a private landlord use it, or only agencies?
Both. A landlord with a few rentals uses the same tools as an agency, on a smaller plan.
Does Propex lodge bonds with Tenancy Services for me?
Not yet. Propex keeps each bond, its lodgement with Tenancy Services and the bond reference on the tenancy, and you lodge it online with Tenancy Services yourself, as the law now requires.
